Coldwell Banker Commercial Mountain West Real Estate (CBCMWRE) began when local Salem businessman and philanthropist, Larry Tokarski , founded and managed our office in 1977. In 1984, Alex Rhoten, began working with Larry to help build the CBCMWRE name in the Salem community, while pursing his principal brokering license. After a few years, Alex decided to create his own commercial real estate company, called Rhoten Commercial, where he discovered a passion for owning a business in the Salem community, but saw the value in the CBC brand, on both a local and national level. In the mid 90s, Alex returned to CBCMWRE and embarked on the ownership of the franchise, finally purchasing the business in 1998. Alex has spent the last 25 years building the business and team at Coldwell Banker Commercial Mountain West Real Estate into the trusted, knowledgeable and client focused name that it is today.
